Hello! I’m Megan Grimaldi, founder of RenaissanceLista™. I’m a management professional with a passion for life-long learning, inclusiveness, equity, and balanced living. I’ve worked as a leader and advisor both within and to nonprofit and academic organizations for over 15 years.
In true RenaissanceLista form, I’ve spent my career leading and contributing to a breadth of initiatives. I’ve built departments, processes and systems; drove cultural change; and encouraged leaders at all levels to dig deep in pursuit of their own learning and development. I’m passionate about serving as a guide to help people and organizations experience their true Renaissance.
I started my career as a public school teacher on the US-Mexico border. As a woman in the education and nonprofit sectors, I discovered a passion for advancing equity and inclusion within people and systems. I care deeply about health and wellness and strive for a future where professionals are able to prioritize self-care in a way that allows them to impact their communities while nurturing themselves.
I am certified at the ACC level through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am trained in Presence-Based Coaching, an approach that integrates concepts and practices from fields such as mindfulness, adult development, somatics, and leadership, ensuring that coaches develop the skills to serve with the whole client in mind. I also have a mindful outdoor guide certification from the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership, which allows me to integrate mindful outdoor experiences, which have proven physical and mental health benefits, into my coaching practice.
I have a Master’s in Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor’s in Music Education and Spanish from Central Michigan University, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
